This design and build project by Dubai Multi Commodities Center’s (DMCC), involves the construction of the the 340-metre high, 81-storey Uptown Tower, the first super-tall tower in Dubai’s Uptown district. The tower, which offers an impressive view of Dubai’s waterfront and skyline, will meet the highest environmental standards for high-rise buildings and aims to achieve a LEED Gold certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). The tower construction began in 2019 and will be completed and delivered to DMCC in autumn 2022. The main contractor was responsible for the detailed engineering and construction of the skyscraper and JAD partnered with them to provide full supply chain and logistics support. This active collaboration has ensured the operational excellence of the project since its inception.
